The End of Cinnamon

Hello all!

You may be wondering where I disappeared off to, as you haven't heard from me anywhere - on the blog/website, on social media, in newsletters - in a few months. I just wanted to let you know that after doing some very serious soul-searching, I have decided I am no longer going to work on this bakery. I've given it (often fun, sometimes not-so-fun) two years of my life, and I'm glad that I did, but I think it's time to move on to [hopefully] bigger and better things!

I wish you all a happy and healthy new year and I want to extend my thanks and sincere gratitude to you all for trying out a brand-new bakery; I know it takes a lot to get used to someone new, and I'll always be grateful that I was that person/bakery.

Cinnamon on Etsy: Update!

Happy autumn! With the changing seasons, we're also changing things up a bit around here: farmers' markets will be ending soon (see below for our final dates at the farmers' markets), and you may be wondering how you can buy our products!

We have a current list of where to find our products in the Portland metropolitan area under the "Where to Buy" tab. But, if you're in the mood for a greater quantity than you can find in the store, or something other than donuts (that's all we sell in the stores), or you're no longer in Portland, we're now directing you to order from our Etsy store. The online store figures in shipping prices, so you know right away how much your product will be!

We're On Vacation: Cinnamon Will Be Closed Through August 24th

Hello all! We hope you're having a fantastic August. It's cooling down here in Portland, making it easy to spend more time outside and enjoy the beautiful remainder of the summer.

We are taking a slightly unexpected vacation for the next week and a half, meaning we won't be at any farmers' markets or in the kitchen baking until Sunday, August 25, at Woodstock Farmers' Market. We apologize for this inconvenience, and we look forward to seeing you again on the 25th!!

Happy 4th of July!

Hello all, and welcome to some seriously hot weather in Portland!! We're not complaining, but we are thinking it's a perfect time to take a little break. This coming week, we'll be at the Woodstock Farmers' Market on Sunday (from 10-2), then at the Moreland Farmers' Market on Wednesday (from 3-7), then we're going to be closed Thursday through Saturday to enjoy the holiday. You can find us again at Woodstock the following Sunday.

A West-Side Market for You

We just got accepted to be a part of the South Waterfront Farmers' Market, currently held on Thursday afternoons from 1-6 p.m. It's located at Elizabeth Caruthers Park (3508 SW Moody Avenue). Starting next week, we'll be there, spreading our vegan, gluten-free and allergen-free treats to the world. We hope to see you there!

Cinnamon is Hiring!

We're looking for someone who can spare 3 hours every Tuesday to help bake for the next 6 months. This job can possibly morph into more hours, but for the time being, you will be guaranteed 3 hours every week. Pay is Oregon's minimum wage ($8.80/hour). Our kitchen is in Tigard, Oregon, and your schedule will be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. every week. You must have a valid food handler's card, and at least a little experience in the kitchen is needed, preferably with gluten-free baking.
